After a UK-wide search, five amateur open‑water swimmers were selected to join Paralympic champion Alice Tai MBE in a relay swim of the English Channel. The campaign celebrates how anyone—regardless of background or ability—can achieve extraordinary goals with the right mindset, training, and nutrition.
What I did:
Me and a team of three other editors produced five distinct hero videos, each highlighting the personal stories and challenges faced by the individuals involved. The emphasis was placed on their motivations and journeys, with careful attention given to tone, emotion, brand identity, and pacing. We also focused on seamlessly intercutting interview responses with supporting footage to craft the most engaging and impactful narrative possible.
Extras
The role also involved extensive footage organisation, music and sound design, colour grading, as well as incorporating minimal text and graphics. I adapted the videos for multiple formats to suit various platforms and audiences. I was also the runner on set.
